Here is my kitty Mary. As you can see she is being very patient with me as I try to learn how to gently pet her rather than grab a fist full of fur. She started to show signs of minor irritation when I tried to climb on her back for a pony ride. You would think that with only three legs that she'd be a slowpoke, but quite the contrary. She can pick up speed fast especially when she hears food put in her dish.
Okay, being 7 months old is turning out to be harder than being 6 months old was. Not only is that tooth causing me some trouble, but I have a cold on top of that. Unfortunately I kept my mom and dad up most of the night since I kept coughing and waking up. Hopefully I'll start feeling better soon. Until then I'll keep practicing the "hang the spoon on your nose" trick like a true Hoagland.
You can't see it in this photo, but trust me that tooth is there! Mom and dad can see it. And they can feel it if they stick their finger in my mouth. CHOMP! HA HA! And the excessive drool on my shirt is further evidence that teething is in process.
Here is proof that my mom isn't the only one who works on this website. I'm learning my way around a keyboard, the web, etc. My typing skills need some improvment, but hey I'm just a day shy of 7 months old. And thank god for spell check!!
Bathing in the kitchen sink? I'm used to swimming in the big kids pool now! Mom, how can you expect me to practice my doggie paddle technique in here?
Tonight, mom thought she would try something new and gave me some mashed bananas for dinner. She thought maybe I would like this and would have fun feeding myself. Well, to be honest I gagged on the slimy stuff. And this seemed more like a gooey new toy to play with rather than dinner. Right now I think I still prefer my regular baby food. Sorry mom.
Ahh, the crystal ball tells me that there are some new toys in my future. Very interesting...

Today mommy and I had our first swimming lesson. Well, mommy knows how to swim, but this was my first time in a big pool. I've been practicing the in bathtub, but this was SO COOL!! We did some kicking, splashing, sang some songs and played a game or two. And the best part of all is that my daddy came to see all my cool swimming moves.
Today my mom and dad took me to the New England Aquarium for the first time. Nana and Pop also went with us. First we had lunch at Legal Seafoods - or rather everyone else had lunch and I napped. Then we went to the Aquarium to see all of the neat things they had there... I really liked the special jellyfish exhibit.
These are some baby turtles (above) that were born at the Aquarium. They are an endangered species of some kind.
