Great Lake!

So far I've been having a great time on vacation. I'm just sorry that my mom was under the weather. She's feeling better every day though and can finally do some blogging with me.

Before my mom started feeling too bad she was able to take me swimming in Glen Lake which is a place she went to a lot when she was a kid. My "Michigan Baptism" was a family affair with even my Great Grandparents in attendance!

Hey mom, can I have some more swim lessons so that next year I can ditch this dinghy and swim all by myself?

Hi everyone! We are getting closer to getting things back up and running on this end. Mom still is too dizzy to walk around much, but at least she's checking her e-mail! Now I know she's on the road to recovery! We'll be working on some new posts soon.

Hi, sorry there have been no posts lately. I'm busy partying with family while my mom is sick in bed. She's got something called vertigo. I thought that was just a Hitchcock flick. We'll try to get some photos posted of me splashing in the lake sometime soon.

Too hot to blog... almost

Hi folks. We're just trying to stay cool here in Boston. Even the cats are more lazy than usual! We are staying out of the house a lot and seeking good air conditioning elsewhere. This weekend we went to the Scituate Harbor Yacht Club and it was much cooler there. I spent some time in the kiddie pool and my dad took me in the big cold saltwater pool.

Today we have lunch plans and then our usual class. Maybe we'll head to the library afterwards to take advantage of cooler temperatures there (and all the books I could want!!). Hopefully some big scary thunderstorms will come through this afternoon and give us some relief!
