Moving day recap

Finally! The moving truck arrived first thing Thursday morning. We were all so excited to see our stuff.And of course, first things first... the most important items were unloaded right off the bat.
Yeah!! I missed my toys so much the past couple of weeks! I'll start unpacking them right away.
And my beloved stroller. Let me take it for a spin around the yard to make sure it is in good working order after the long journey in the truck.
Wow, moving is hard work. Let me just sit down for a minute, have a drink of water and zzzzzz....

Surprise!

Look what the Moving Fairy brought me! My very own Choo Choo Chair! I think this means that I was very good yesterday. Well, can't sit around all day. There is lots more unpacking to do. I'll tell you more about it later.

Helping out

Wow, has it been busy since we landed in California. Sometimes all we do is run errands. Excuse me, when do we get to take things off my "to do" list like go to the playground?

Well, yesterday was another day of being dragged in and out of the car. Here I am doing my best to be helpful. Mom and dad were shopping for a washer and dryer at an appliance store and I was checking out their toy selection.

Toddler Travel Tips

Hi everyone,

We finally made this move to California yesterday. Let me tell you a little bit about our day. The flight from Boston to San Jose is a long one so you need to come prepared. You'll get bored sitting on a plane for 6 hours and 36 minutes if you don't have the right toys and supplies. Here is a good way to keep yourself busy....
What would you do with 700 train stickers? Well you decorate your mommy of course.
Then you can also decorate yourself.
It's also important to have plenty of snacks. Clementines are fun because you get to peel them and then feed them to your parents (they need snacks too). Also, it helps flying on an airline that provides a cartoon channel!
By the end of the flight, you've been so busy and had so much fun that you need some sleep. I managed to stay awake until the very end of the flight. You know that my parents had so much fun keeping me entertained that I didn't want to deny them the pleasure of keeping me occupied for so long.

Okay, so they didn't win (boooo!) but I still LOVE my super cool Urlacher jersey that my Aunt Whit sent me. I'm the coolest kid on the block!

It's freezing around here and I have to do something to keep my piggies warm!

No thanks mom. I don't want to sit in my highchair ever again. Can't you see that I'm so grown up that I can sit at the table with you and daddy? Anyway, I'm way to antsy to sit still for more than 2 minutes at a time.

Mom and I have been having a terrible time posting to the blog lately. Something has gone wrong in a conversion between Old Blogger and New Blogger. So, mom and I worked hours to cut and paste old posts to this new blog address. Please use this site from now on (unless we advise otherwise).

California here we come

Guess what everyone? We are moving! All the way to California! This isn't some kind of April Fools joke many months too early. My dad's job has us moving from one ocean to the other. It should be pretty fun and exciting don't you think?

To be more exact, we are moving to Silicon Valley, hopefully close to Palo Alto. A lot of things are going to be going on with this relocation so my mom has started another blog to keep everyone posted with more details (I'm leaving the organization of this move up to my parents).
