Easter Sunday

Another weekend, another Easter Egg hunt. That's fine with me! Look at all of these eggs are filled with goodies (mom thought ahead and filled them with Cheerios, Teddy Grahams and Goldfish crackers rather than candy).
I'm a pro at this. I found them all and ate the contents of each egg.
Holy cow! Look at this basket of goodies. Where was this hiding?
Trains, cool. Car, cool. Book about trains and cars, extra cool!
What do you mean I'm not supposed to rub this dye colored egg all over my face?
After my nap there were even more eggs to seek out. Wow, that bunny was busy. This year I did a better job of not dropping the hard boiled eggs (but they cracked anyway when I threw them in the basket).
Here's another... Easter is a lot of hard work for a little kid. Now I need some of that chocolate to refuel.

Cookie party

We haven't gotten around to the cookie decorating yet... yesterday it was time to decorate our Easter cookies that I helped my mom make.

Here dad, put them right here on the tray. I promise I won't eat too many before dinner time.
You must concentrate very hard to get the sprinkles in the right place.
It's not as easy as it looks folks. But it is well worth the effort because these things are tasty!

What a weekend!!

It was another awesome weekend around here. First, my parents took me to an Easter egg hunt on Saturday morning. Last year was good practice and this year I was a PRO! No egg could get past me especially if they were filled with CANDY! And then I went to visit the Easter bunny again just to check in and make sure he knows where I live.

Saturday night we went out to dinner at this burger joint and was so cool! It had a mini-playground right outside the door (no it wasn't McDonald's).

Sunday we had a delicious pancake breakfast before heading out to see "Horton Hears A Who." I thought the movie was great (my parents enjoyed it too). But before the movie started we hung out and played some video games. Okay, I admit that with the driving game I needed dad's help reaching the pedals, but the steering was (mostly) all up to me.

Anticipation

I can't wait for it to be warm enough to go swimming in the pool again. But mom told me that the temperature of the water is only about 62 degrees... that seems a little on the chilly side to me.
Meanwhile, I'm happy to be hanging out in the backyard blowing bubbles while we have some warm weather. Being able to wear shorts in March is a good thing!

Hippity Hoppity

Jellybeans, chocolate and colorful eggs hidden around the backyard? That's cool with me!

Schedule out of whack

I don't know what's up. I've been ready for my naps way ahead of schedule these days. Who cares about lunch when a little boy is so tired.

Kite Flying

Yesterday my friend Kam and I had a ton of fun at the park flying kites. This was my first time flying a kite and I have to say that I caught on pretty quick. I needed a little help from dad, but not much.


Ah, yes, these sunglasses make it so much easier to see... And then look cool too.

My mom and I were reviewing some photos on the computer today and she showed me some editing options. I liked the sepia toned effect, but mom prefers color or black and white photos.

Couch Potato

Yesterday Mom decided she needed a little break, which meant I got to watch a couple of episodes of Thomas. I'll just chill here for a bit.
