Hey, you look familiar. Do I know you from somewhere? The playground maybe or the sandbox? I like your outfit. Our moms must shop at the same places.
Okay, time for me to go back and play with my new toys. Give me five!
Here I come! Mommy and I head to Michigan on Monday. We will be there for a whole week. The real reason for our trip is to go to a wedding and it should be lots of fun visiting my grandparents, Aunt Whitney and all sorts of other friends and family. I even hear that there might be some new toys waiting for me at Grandma's house. Hmmm, very interesting.
Not much is new here... although we have survived THE BLIZZARD OF 2006!! We aren't snowed in, but the sloppy sidewalks do make it a little bit harder to cruise around town. Thankfully I have my all-terrain stroller to get me through the tough parts (where people don't do a good job shoveling for example).

Oh darn. My favorite shows have been pre-empted by Olympic coverage
I got a special, one-time-only, gift from the Toothfairy to celebrate the arrival of my first two teeth. Mom said that this won't happen again until I lose my baby teeth many many years from now. And by then I'll get CASH!
So, here I am playing with my very own "Busy Box." By the way, did you know that the Toothfairy shops at Amazon.com?
My dad said that it is never too early to start planning for your financial future. I'm brushing up on some ideas to discuss at my next playgroup. Likely topics include the following:
Here is my kitty Mary. As you can see she is being very patient with me as I try to learn how to gently pet her rather than grab a fist full of fur. She started to show signs of minor irritation when I tried to climb on her back for a pony ride. You would think that with only three legs that she'd be a slowpoke, but quite the contrary. She can pick up speed fast especially when she hears food put in her dish.
Okay, being 7 months old is turning out to be harder than being 6 months old was. Not only is that tooth causing me some trouble, but I have a cold on top of that. Unfortunately I kept my mom and dad up most of the night since I kept coughing and waking up. Hopefully I'll start feeling better soon. Until then I'll keep practicing the "hang the spoon on your nose" trick like a true Hoagland.

You can't see it in this photo, but trust me that tooth is there! Mom and dad can see it. And they can feel it if they stick their finger in my mouth. CHOMP! HA HA! And the excessive drool on my shirt is further evidence that teething is in process.
