Don't jump to any conclusions. Despite the look on my face, I put these bunny ears on myself. My mom didn't force me to do it. Now, how about some carrots?

Primed for the post season

As you can see I'm well prepared for these post-season Red Sox games. I have my "big Papi" t-shirt that I even wear over my pj's. I also have my Red Sox cup and blanket. I'm hear to help the team in any way I can.
But now dad and I have got to concentrate on the game.

Weekend Wrap Up

As you may have read, we had a pretty busy time last weekend. I was away on vacation in Maine with my parents. It's not always easy having to be some place new. But I think my parents would agree that I did okay.
It always helps when you dine a restaurants that serve ice cream!
And it is nice if you have a comfortable place to sleep. I got this whole queen sized bed to myself!
It also doesn't hurt if you make some new friends. These little boys were admiring my Lightening McQueen toy and I was happy to share a little bit.

Fraternity Training 101

I think I'm already ahead of schedule. I'm already learning the efficiency of having two drinks at once.
Ahhh, that really quenches my thirst.

Time with my cousins

I had fun with my cousin's Nina and Catherine last week. Okay, sharing toys can be difficult at times, but here we are all getting along... watching Curious George after dinner.

More travels

As you may have heard, I was under the weather this past weekend with my first ear infection. It was not very fun. But the good thing is that I was able to tell my parents exactly what was wrong so we got things sorted out quickly.

Now we are back in Boston. Our flight went well and I cut my mom some slack and slept during the flight (Robby's mom says 'thanks' to the kind folks who make Benedryl).

I will try to get some photos posted up later. Maybe we'll go visit some of our old haunts like the park, toy store, etc.

Another tough day

Another Wednesday, another day at preschool. So far it's pretty fun. Lots of cool stuff to play with, fun songs to sing and lots of cool kids.
Okay mom, I'm ready to go. I just have to grab my snack bag. Good thing my teachers don't give homework just yet. Preschool isn't all play and no work. Being a little kid can be pretty tiring. That's why after a nap it's always nice to sit in my dad's Shiatsu massage chair.

Root for the home team(s)

It was a big day for sports around here. The Sox and the Patriots were playing at the same time! Don't worry, I was well prepared and I wore both my Sox and Pats shirts at the same time.

The Patriots did great and had a big win over the San Diego Chargers. The Sox were playing the Evil Empire (Yankees) and that game turned into a total nail biter in the 9th inning. Oh it was so intense I almost couldn't watch.
Too bad the Sox lost. At least they put the pressure on in the last minute and made it interesting. Hey Derek Jeter, I'm picking this one just for you!

Looking dapper

Ho hum. All dressed up and nowhere to go.
My mom got me dressed up today to see if I had appropriate attire for an upcoming wedding that we are going to. Not much to do in these fancy dress clothes.
Wait a minute. Do I hear something? A knock at the door perhaps? What could it be? Pizza? Toys? Puppy dogs? I'd better go check!

School is Cool!

As some of you know, I had my first day of preschool today. And let me tell you - it was pretty darn cool! By the time my parents picked me up this afternoon I had been having so much fun. I was soaked from playing at the water table. I'm ready to go back and have some more fun.

I can't tell you how excited my dad and I are that a new football season has begun. On our last trip to Boston my parents made it a priority to find a new Patriots jersey for me since I'd outgrown last year's shirt. I'll be wearing this shirt every Sunday and occasional Mondays depending on the team's schedule. It's unlikely that I'll have to wear the shirt to bed since football games start early here on the West Coast.

A Day at the Park

Today we had a pretty fantastic day at the park. I got to spend plenty of time playing with trucks in the sandbox, climbed all over the jungle gyms and we had a picnic. The best part of the day was meeting two older kids who let me tag along as they collected worms in their Insect Catcher. That was the coolest!

Summer - it's far from over

Labor Day has come and gone, but we still have plenty of toasty warm weather to look forward to here in California. Dad was told that September here can be the hottest month of the year. That means that I have tons of time left for swimming and... Otter Pops! My dad didn't know what these were but my mom seems to have fond memories of the tasty frozen treats. I think Otter Pops are specifically a more Midwest thing.
Even though it is still hot and sunny here, there is one indication that fall is around the corner... FOOTBALL! Dad and I have been talking all week about the official start of the new NFL season. As you can see, we are pretty excited.

Side note: Everyone in our family is happy to see that a new season of Curious George episodes has started on PBS. I don't feel guilty letting Robby watch this because the shows focus on math and science concepts that he'll pick up more on when he's older. Here's an excerpt about the new season.

Having Fun At Happy Hollow

Yesterday mom and I met our friends at the Happy Hollow Park and Zoo in San Jose. In some respects it doesn't look like much, but I'm a kid who isn't all that picky. I had a blast! I got endless rides on the Carosel and the Dragon Train. We didn't even get to some of the other rides and fun stuff like the zoo. There is always next time!
