Eggs-pert

Well, it didn't take long for me to catch on with this whole Easter Egg hunt business. I'm a pro at hunting down these little candy-filled eggs and boy is it fun! Don't miss the action caught on video which is posted on our other blog. What you mean the eggs are all gone? I want to keep looking...

We may have finally found a way to add video to the blog. Very exciting isn't it? Especially now that Robby can really ham it up and talk a little this should be entertaining.

It's not that I'm afraid of the Easter Bunny, it's just that his whiskers are tickling my ear.

Back to work

Now I'm feeling better (that pesky fever only lasted a day) it's back to household chores like checking the smoke alarms. Yup, this one is okay! Let's move on dad.

Sick day

I'm just not feeling well today. I have a fever and that's no fun at all. But mom is taking good care of me. I've gotten to watch my favorite movie (Cars), nap on the couch and have ice cream for lunch.

On safari

Today I decided to do my parents a favor and take them to the San Francisco Zoo. I know they like animals and thought that they might have a fun time. We saw so many interesting and fun animals... be prepared for a lot of photos. And my mom might post even more photos on her own blog because there are just so many to share.

Boy it sure is humid in this Amazon rain forest. I'm having a hard time seeing that creepy crocodile.
We got to do something extra special - ride on a real miniture choo-choo!! It was a highlight of the day for everyone.
Here we are patiently waiting our turn. Can't wait for the choo-choo!
Ah, hello kitty cat. Finally a cat around here that I can pet. And she makes a comfy seat too.
Boy, touring around this zoo really makes a kid work up an appetite. What do you have for a snack? Well animal crackers of course.

Look. This one took a break from his lunch to say hello. Maybe he's got an eye on my animal crackers. Sorry, buddy. The sign says not to feed you.
Ooooh! Grizzly bears! This one is taking a bath just like I do. It looks like he doesn't like to let his mom trim his fingernails either.
Ah, and the king of the jungle. He stood here to pose just for us. I let out a fierce ROAR to let him know that I said "Happy St. Patricks Day!" I didn't see that he was wearing green, but I wasn't about to pinch him. He has green plants in his habitat so I guess that counts.

Daylight Savings

This change in time has me all screwed up. I don't know when to fall asleep, when to wake up or when to nap. Oh well...

Backward birthday

I don't quite understand how this works, but yesterday was my grandma's birthday and she bought ME a gift. She said that she wanted to give me a birthday gift early and I wasn't about to argue with her. This is my incredibly neat fort that includes slide, rock wall and telescope! I've been having so much fun going up and down the slide all day long! And with the telescope I can keep an eye out for pirates (or pesky squirrels).
Well, it wasn't all about me. I had a handful of gifts to give. Here I am testing out a very tasty birthday cake. I hope you had a great birthday grandma. And thanks again for my early birthday gift. I love it!

Friends!

This past weekend was very exciting. Not only is my grandma Mary in town, but some friends came to visit too! My friend Gabriella and I have known each other for ages - since we were babies. I hadn't seen her in almost a year since she moved away from Brookline. She happened to in California on vacation and we had a great time getting together to play!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. My mom and dad got me this incredibly cool train table and I can't keep my hands off it! I've been a little preoccupied. More later... I gotta get back to the choo-choos.

Moving day recap

Finally! The moving truck arrived first thing Thursday morning. We were all so excited to see our stuff.And of course, first things first... the most important items were unloaded right off the bat.
Yeah!! I missed my toys so much the past couple of weeks! I'll start unpacking them right away.
And my beloved stroller. Let me take it for a spin around the yard to make sure it is in good working order after the long journey in the truck.
Wow, moving is hard work. Let me just sit down for a minute, have a drink of water and zzzzzz....

Surprise!

Look what the Moving Fairy brought me! My very own Choo Choo Chair! I think this means that I was very good yesterday. Well, can't sit around all day. There is lots more unpacking to do. I'll tell you more about it later.

Helping out

Wow, has it been busy since we landed in California. Sometimes all we do is run errands. Excuse me, when do we get to take things off my "to do" list like go to the playground?

Well, yesterday was another day of being dragged in and out of the car. Here I am doing my best to be helpful. Mom and dad were shopping for a washer and dryer at an appliance store and I was checking out their toy selection.

Toddler Travel Tips

Hi everyone,

We finally made this move to California yesterday. Let me tell you a little bit about our day. The flight from Boston to San Jose is a long one so you need to come prepared. You'll get bored sitting on a plane for 6 hours and 36 minutes if you don't have the right toys and supplies. Here is a good way to keep yourself busy....
What would you do with 700 train stickers? Well you decorate your mommy of course.
Then you can also decorate yourself.
It's also important to have plenty of snacks. Clementines are fun because you get to peel them and then feed them to your parents (they need snacks too). Also, it helps flying on an airline that provides a cartoon channel!
By the end of the flight, you've been so busy and had so much fun that you need some sleep. I managed to stay awake until the very end of the flight. You know that my parents had so much fun keeping me entertained that I didn't want to deny them the pleasure of keeping me occupied for so long.

Okay, so they didn't win (boooo!) but I still LOVE my super cool Urlacher jersey that my Aunt Whit sent me. I'm the coolest kid on the block!
