Hmmm, I wonder what Mommy meant when she said "we got this up just in time." Come on, I think I just heard the ice cream truck go by. Let me out!
Yesterday I turned 9 months old. We had a pretty good day. I fed myself a breakfast of banana and Cheerios. What delicacies! We took it easy for most of the day since I had an afternoon checkup at the doctor's office. That went well. I'm such a big boy that I didn't even cry when I got my shot! By the way, did I mention that I now have another new tooth? Some more are on their way. And let me tell you that dealing with that is way harder than getting some wimpy shot at the doctor's office.
Yet another busy weekend in the life of me, Robby Emens. Yesterday I went for a jog with my daddy (well, I napped in the stroller while he did all the work). Then later my mom and I went shopping and she got some new clothes for our upcoming vacation. She didn't buy anything for me, but that is okay... just this once.
We got tickets to go to see the Boston Bruins game this weekend. How many little boys are lucky enough to go to their first NHL hockey game before they are even 9 months old? We went with some friends and we had so much fun. At first I didn't know what to think about the loud crowds, but soon enough I was cheering with the best of them. It was a great game and the Bruins beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2. And as dad said "Robby you are so lucky! Your first game and you get to witness a hat trick!" Okay, dad. Whatever that means.
Here is a picture of my mom and me sitting in the old penalty box from the original Boston Garden. Cool!
Here I am still pondering the excitement of this "hat trick." I think dad needs to give me another sports tutorial. Meanwhile, think I could have some of that popcorn?
Hello everyone. Mom hasn't gotten much of a chance to post updates lately. That is partly due to some upgrades she did to the computer (and the fact that she's taken so many pictures of me that she needed an external hard drive). The other thing interfering is that I'm starting to crawl a bit now so she can't just plop me on the floor with some toys and expect that I'll stay out of trouble while she plays on the computer. Sorry mom, those days of me sitting still are OVER!
